Mustang of the Month - April

Mustang of the Month - April

Isabella Popejoy, a sophomore thrower, has been making waves in collegiate athletics with her exceptional performances. Throughout the season up to April, she has consistently dominated humbly,  as the top collegiate thrower in every meet she has competed in, showcasing her remarkable talent and determination.
Popejoy's most notable achievement this month came at the prestigious Mt Sac Relays, where she clinched victory with ease.

She has not stopped with just one triumph, Popejoy has continued to assert her dominance within the Big 8 Conference, NorCal, and the state. Her mark in the hammer throw, an impressive 52.63 meters (current school record), places her firmly at the forefront of her event, leaving her competitors trailing in her wake.

This past weekend Kennedy became back to back Big 8 Champion in the mile and swam state qualifying times in 3 individual events. Kenna qualified in 2 individuals one being the 100 free - one of the most difficult events in the state.

Delta Women also qualified 4 relays for the state championships. We placed 5th in the big 8 (the most stacked conference in the state) scoring 478 points a feat that would be 1/2 in any other conference in the state.
