Perfect Game released their final JUCO National Poll and Delta College remained in the #2 position. The Mustangs were hoping to jump to the #1 spot after winning the California Community College State Championship. Walters State (TN) was previously ranked #1 but fell to Chipola (FL) in the NJCAA world series on June 2, 2018. Unfortunately, Perfect Game chose to go with Chipola in the top spot. Chipola was also #1 in 2017. This is the highest final ranking for Delta. The Mustangs have finished in the Top 5 three other times (3rd in 2015, 4th in 2011, and 5th in 2014).
