Three more Mustangs commit

Three more Mustangs have decided on colleges for next year. Sophomores Dominick Pisano and Trent North have committed to nationally ranked NAIA schools, and freshman righthander Zach Tresemer has committed to the University of California San Diego. The Tritons are in the process of transitioning from NCAA Division II to Division I. UCSD finished the season 43-17 and ranked #8 in the NCAA Div II National Poll.

Zach chose UCSD for its academic and athletic reputation. He was very effective for the Mustangs despite some injuries going 2-0 in 15 appearances with 23 strikeouts in 19 innings.

Sophomore centerfielder Dominick Pisano has committed to Freed Hardeman University (Henderson, Tennessee). Freed Hardeman finished the season #2 in the Final NAIA National Poll. Dominick had a very productive year for the Mustangs. He was a 2nd Team All Big 8 member. In 47 games he hit .343 with 7 doubles, 23 rbi and 7 stolen bases while not making an error all year.

Sophomore rightfielder Trent North will be continuing his career at perennial NAIA powerhouse Lewis and Clark State University in Lewiston, Idaho. The Warriors finished #4 in the National NAIA poll. Trent was a 1st Team All Big 8 selection. Trent was a big part of the Mustangs State Title. He played in 50 games batting .310 with 12 doubles, 1 triple, 6 homeruns, and 8 stolen bases while fielding .986.

Congratulations to these three Mustangs!
