Coach Kittle begins his 1st year as pitching coach for the Mustangs. Last eason he was the pitching coach for West Valley College, which produced the pitcher of the year and 3 additional all conference pitchers.

Coach Kittle was the Head Coach at Cabrillo College for 14 years. At Cabrillo, the team was in the playoffs 8 years, winning 3 conference titles and 6 Super Regionals appearances. While at Cabrillo, over 150 players went to 4 year level and 3 MLB pitchers.

His 13 (1997-2009) year tenure at Santa Cruz High resulted in: 8 league titles, 3 appearances in the CCS Finals and won 1 CCS title. During the 13 years, 58 players went on to play 4 year college baseball, w 12 earning Div 1 scholarships. He was inducted into the Santa Cruz Hall of Fame in 2021.

Prior to Santa Cruz High, Kittle coached at Downey (CA) HS from 1994-96, coaching football, basketball and baseball. In 1993, Kittle assisted at Whittier College as the hitting coach. He was also an assistant coach at Springfield College (MA), while earning his Masters degree. Coach Kittle played 4 years at Whittier College as a 1st/3rd basemen.

Coach Kittle earned his B.A. (History) from Whittier College in 1991 and his M.Ed (Sports Management) from Springfield College in 1992. Bob has 2 daughters, Jordan (21) and Taylor (18).
