Brian is the Catching Coach and back for his second season with The Mustangs. He has coached baseball at the Div 1 level and JC level. Some of those schools include San Jose State University, Grossmont College and San Jose CC. He was also a scout for the NY Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks. He played at the Univ. Portland and College of the Siskiyous and holds a B.S. Degree in Biology. Coach Kohndrow grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains and played high school baseball at Los Gatos HS. He is family man and has two daughters and one son. Brian works as the VP of Sales for Synergy Surgical. He is a US Navy veteran (Firefighter onboard USS Ranger) and served in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Southern Watch and Operation Restore Hope.
