Gerardo is the son of Jose J. Hernandez and Hilda Arellano. He has five siblings, Marisela (32), Nancy (30), Erika (28), Becky (23), and Jose (22). In his spare time he enjoys weight lifting, playing video games, golfing, basketball and tennis. His favorite movie is Star Wars. He likes Country music and all types of food. If he could meet anyone in the world it would have to be Willie Mays. His favorite quote is “In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous”. The most inspirational person to him is Arnold Palmer because after everything he went through he continued to do what he loved and remained happy. Gerardo describes himself as someone just trying to make it through the day, while having fun along the way. His biggest sports excitement was when the Giants World Series 2010. Gerardo’s future goal is to graduate and transfer to a four year majoring in mathematics.
