Mustang Track and Field content with performance at the Jack Albiani

A majority of the athletes performed well and achieved Personal bests. Including team nominated Field athlete of the week, Cody Hearn. Hearn won the discus and achieved the state A standard at the invitational. He also threw a 1 meter PR in the hammer throw. 

" I'm very happy with my performance at the meet,  my goals for the season are more likely than I thought . I expected to see these marks but not this quick."

Expectations for Hornet next Week ?

" I hope to stay competitive and hopefully PR again "Hearn said. 

Clarissa Menil , team nominated Track athlete of the week completed in 6 events and stood out in her 100m hurdle race running a time of 15.3 which ranks her fist in Northern California. 

"I'm not necessarily content with the time but I'm happy with winning, we are working on a lot of things and I'm still waiting for everything to click." 

Expectations for Hornet Invite next ? 

" I'm excited to see competition in my hurdle races, good competition means competitive times, I'm ready."
