The Mustangs traveled to San Diego State to find competition in warm dry weather and found themselves right in the hunt of the top ranked in the meet! "Our athletes stepped up to the 4 year's, socal jcs and competed well against them. Juwan Seales wins men's triple jump with a mark of 48'3"ft. He is currently #2 in the state.
Steve Taylor 10.56, 2nd overall in the meet. Lifetime best. A Standard for CCCAA. 6th in the state.
Men's 4x100 Relay team of Steve Taylor, Marcus Baker, Bashar Barksdale, Dion Collier run a 41.72 which is a seasonal best and second overall in the meet. 4th in the state.
Marcus Baker in Men's 800m ran 1:58.32 which is a personal best. 3rd in the meet.=
Paolo De Los Santos, Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 45'11 1/4", 3rd place overall. He is currently 4th in the state in TJ with a A Standard.
Women's 4x400m relay (Emma Snyder, Bailey Stavolone, Kristen Sotelo and Clarissa Menil ran 4:15.02 placing 3rd place In the meet. 8th in the state.
Women's 4x100m relay. Emma Snyder, Bailey Stavolone, Claissa Menil, Normie Thurman ran 49.97 with a seasonal best time. 9th in the state.
Dion Collier ran a 10.69 in Men's 100m dash placing him 6th in the meet. 9th in the state.
Alicia Woo in Women's Pole Vault 11'2.5" ties her personal best. 4th in the state.
Steve Taylor runs 22.10 in the Men's 200m dash with a personal best.
Normie Thurman in Women's 100m dash ran 12.25 which is a seasonal best. Ranks her 2nd in NorCal.
Normie Thurman in Women's 200m dash ran 25.44 which is a seasonal best.
Alicia Woo in Women's Pole Vault 11'2.5" ties her personal best. 4th in the state. 1st in NorCal
Bashar Barksdale ran a 50.00 in Men's 400m dash placing 4th overall in the meet.
Caitlin McClain in Women's Hammer threw 150'2"ft and 9th overall. 5th overall in the state.
Kenneth Gonzales in Men's Shot Put threw 45'6 1/2"ft 8th in the meet.
Kenneth Gonzales in Men's hammer threw 168'11 and 10th overall. 6th in the state.
James McClain throws 43'10"3/4 in the Mens Shot Put placing 9th. James also throws + 3meter improvement in Men's Discus which is a huge improvement.
Jordan Nance threw 113'10 in Women's Javelin Throw placing 10th overall. 6th in the state
