Lady Mustangs record 6th Shutout in Eight Games
 
Game 1:  Sophmore Delaney Pamplin recorded her 5th shutout on the young season as the Lady Mustangs rolled to their eigth straight win.  In five innings of work, she only surrendered two hits and punched out one.  The offense would match her performance and provide eleven runs of support in the route.  They were lead by Freshman Mikaela Ferreira and Cheyenne Washington who each recorded three hits along with two RBI's.  Sophmore Janelle Rodriguez collected two hits (1 HR) and two RBI's and sophmore Morgan Wheeler had two hits as well with three runs.  
 
Mustangs Run Away with it Late
 
Game 2:  Mikaela Ferreira started the game off with fireworks, hitting her 3rd homerun of the year and giving the Lady Mustangs an early one run lead.  Sohpmore Gabby Olivas would make it 3-0 a few batters later with a single up the middle that would score Sophmores Shay Trent and Tawny Deerinck.  Freshman Jenna Nauta went four and two thirds scoreless innings before being pulled with two runners on base in the 5th inning.  Those runners would later score, cutting the lead to 3-2.  After a number of hard hit balls straight to defenders, the offense's luck would change in the seventh.  Ashley Duval and Ferreira woul hit back to back lasers to right field to put runners on first and second.  After being moved over and a fielder's choice by Janelle Rodriguez, Shay Trent hit a triple to right center extending the lead by two more runs.  Deerinck would follow with a double of her own and one batter later be driven in by Cheyenne Washington.  The five run lead would hold as Pamplin came back out in the bottom of the inning to record her first save of the year.  The Mustangs will be back in action on Thursday against San Jose City in San Jose.
