Outside hitter Kiyah Irby was named the North California player of the week by the CCCWVCA (California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association). Kiyah earned the award with her performance in Delta's two opening season wins. She had 15 kills, hitting .583, in the opening sweep of Hartnell College. She led the team in the second win over Solano, with 11 kills, 10 digs, two aces and two solo blocks. In 2022 Kiyah was an AVCA All-American as well and an All-state and All-Conference player. Kiyah has committed to play next year at University of the Pacific.
