Men finished 5th and Women finished 6th at the Big 8 Conference Championships. Freshman Mario Munoz took a leap on a brutal hilly course and led the team with a one minute PR of 23:22 of the 4.07 mile and 5th place finish overall. Carmen Cruz led the women in the 3 mile with a time of 24:39. Both teams will advance to the NorCal Championships next Friday at Shasta college.
