Mustangs drop opener of SOCAL Challenge

The Delta offense could not get started as the Mustangs fell to LA Pierce 8-1 in the opener of the SOCAL challenge. Flyball outs seemed to be theme as Delta hitters recorded 16 on the day while managing just four hits. Tyler Condie took the loss despite throwing five quality innings allowing just three hits and striking out seven.

The Mustangs are scheduled to play at LA Valley college tomorrow.
