Title: Assistant Coach

Cade begins his second year as an assistant at Delta College. Cade will coach the outfielders, hitters and first base. Cade completed his collegiate career at Metro State University in Denver, CO. He played at Metro for three seasons from 2019-2021 and completed his bachelors degree in Political Science with a minor in Coaching.

2021: appeared in 36 games posting a .305 avg with 5 2b’s, 4 HR’s and 25 rbi.

2020: Led team with .375 batting average, .625 slugging percentage 1.062 OPS and .437 on-base percentage. ... Started 17 games, splitting time at first base and in the outfield before the season ended due to the COVID pandemic

2019: Appeared in 49 games, with 47 starts, primarily as the Roadrunners' right fielder. ... Batted .242 with four homers, 24 RBIs, 35 runs, 16 doubles, two triples and six stolen bases.

Before MSU Denver: Played two seasons for NCAA Division I UC Riverside of the Big West Conference...Played in 69 games, including 57 starts, with the Highlanders…Batted .244 with three home runs, 23 RBIs, six doubles and one triple to go along with 29 runs, 22 walks and a stolen base over his two-year stint.

High School: A 2015 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Stockton, Calif.…Selected to 2015 all-league first team…Made 2015 all-area infield first team as well…Batted .388 with two home runs, 35 RBIs, nine doubles, two triples 26 runs, 11 walks and seven stolen bases during his senior season with the Rams of the Tri-City Athletic League.

Cade also is the hitting coach for the Rochester Honkers of the prestigious Northwoods league in the Summer.
