Season Preview - Men's Soccer
Off to a great start to the season the Mustangs led by head coach Josh Bradley will be heading into their next home game on Tuesday after back-to-back shutout wins as the lighted up the scoreboard with a combined 12 goals in the past two games.

After a 2022 season that saw them win just three games all season the Mustangs have nearly matched that already this season as they opened the season with a 2-2 draw against Monterey Peninsula and a 2-1 loss against Ohlone before a 5-0 win at Yuba and a 7-0 win at home on Friday against Siskiyous.

In the win over the Eagles, it was Alexis Chavez who led the attack with a hat-trick while Ricardo Iniguez added a pair of goals. It was the first time since October 22nd, 2019, that the Mustangs scored at least seven goals in a game which should hopefully be a good sign of things to come as that 2019-20 season saw the Mustangs win 13 games and reach the NorCal regionals.

Finding his way to Stockton from Rome, Italy is goalkeeper Mattia Marsili and he was in net for both of the back-to-back shutout wins as he combined for eight saves in those two games.

It will be another home doubleheader with the women's team on Tuesday as they will open up the doubleheader with a game at 3:30 against Napa Valley. Later in the week they will be on the road at Contra Costa before returning home for another Tuesday afternoon game this time at 3:00 against Butte.
