Much like last season the Mustangs team that ends the year will likely look much different than the one that starts. the season due to injuries but they still had some impressive performances to start the 2023 season.

 

Making his Mustangs debut was freshmen Marcus Mireles and he went a perfect 3-0 against Santa Rosa, Skyline, and East Los Angeles at 141 pounds.

 

Going 2-1 to open the year was freshmen Elias Magann at 133 and Gabriel Olivera at 149 while sophomores Jason Betlej at 157 and Jorge Quintero also picked up two wins each.

 

They will be competing tomorrow morning at the Sacramento City Tournament and then the West Hills Invitational the following Saturday.
