Women's Basketball
Going 20-8 during the regular season with a 14-2 record in Big 8 Conference play it was more than enough to get the Mustangs a first-round bye in the 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs before they advanced on Saturday with a 70-51 win over San Mateo. Kiara Council was one of four Mustangs to score in double figures as she scored a team-high 16 points while Aaliyah Youngblood filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, five steals and five assists. Now a win away from advancing back to the State Championships the Mustangs will be at home on Saturday against San Francisco.

A challenging season came to an end on a positive note for the Mustangs as they ended the season with a road win at Folsom Lake College. During the 80-74 win it was Alex Perasso who scored a team-high 20 points while also grabbing ten rebounds during their fourth Big 8 Conference win of the season. Baseball
Just like the softball team they are also off to an undefeated start in Big 8 Conference play as they ended the month of February with a three-game sweep of American River and currently have an 11-7 record. Leading the offense is a trio of freshmen as Joel Roberts has driven in a team-best 24 runs while Sutter Moss and Samuel Rivas both have 20 runs batted in. As a team they are currently hitting .327 with 28 home runs. On the mound it's also a trio of freshmen that have currently led the way as Brett Grady, Jack Soares, and Cory Sugg have all recorded two wins. They will be at Billy Hebert Field on Tuesday to kick off a three-game series against Diablo Valley.
Beach Volleyball
After their best season in program history last year saw them go 10-8, they are off to an even better start this season as they are 5-3 and winners of five of their last six. After starting the season with two tough losses the Mustangs would go and win four straight and during that win streak, they would 18 of the 20 points. During the back-to-back 5-0 wins it was Hadlee Gray and Catherine Frias pairing up as the 1's while Bella Cormack and Kyra Saiers at the 2's both didn't lose a set.
Men's Golf
Big 8 Conference play is underway as the Mustangs ended the month with third place finishes at Silverado and Yolo Fliers. Jakob Green and Eli Kruppa were the low scores for the team while Green once again was a medalist after shooting a 72. Earlier in the month they battled rainy conditions to finish in second at the Ridge in Auburn. Green led the way in that one as well for the Mustangs with a 71 and his multiple medalist month saw him also named as a Mustang of the Month for February.
Women's Wrestling
After mentioning one Mustang of the Month, it would be hard to not mention the other as Samira Mason was tough to beat as she went 9 and 1 with a first-place finish at the Sacramento City Open. During that first-place performance she won all four of her matches by pin fall and was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament. As a team the Mustangs finished in third place as Victoria Jimenez and Alejandra Ochoa both had third place finishes.
Swimming and Diving
There's something special about not just winning an event but winning one that you are hosting as the women's team finished in first place during the Delta Swimming and Diving Invitational. Ally Ratto, Jenna Bigelow, and Kylie Richardson not only all won an event but they all three had three wins on the day as Ratto dominated the back stroke, Bigelow flew by the competition in the butterfly, and Richardson impressed in the breaststroke. On the men's side they were recently in competition at the College of the Sequioas Invite and finished in second place overall. Mark Doria led the way for the Mustangs as he finished in first place in three different races while also adding a fourth top three finish. Guy Hein also had a first place as he and Doria both finished the 50 yard freestyle race with identical times.
