Track and Field
Both programs had impressive showings at the end of the season state meet as the men finished in seventh place while the women's team finished in 13th place. Jake Todden not only took home the state championship in the shot put but he finished in first in the hammer as well to become a multiple state champion. On the women's side Ashonti Brown found herself with two top two finishes including a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles after losing in a photo finish in the 100m hurdles.
Women's Wrestling
Samira Mason became the program's first ever state champion as she won the 3C2A 110 pound championship while being named the most outstanding wrestler of the state finals. Isabel Zepeda and Alejandra Ochoa each finished in second place in the state finals while also earning All-American honors.
Men's Golf
There is a new trophy in the case for the program as they wrapped this year with a third-place finish in the state tournament. Jakob Green, Jake Hyland, and Seth Fuhrman all shot 76 while Luke Hyland was right behind them with a 77.
Beach Volleyball
A season for the record books it was as they not only went 15-9 but for the first time in program history, they had two pairs qualify for the state championships as Kyra Saiers and her partner Hadlee Gray were joined by teammates Bella Cormack and her partner Catherine Frias in pursuit of a state title.
Volleyball
You can almost count on the Mustangs to be one of the teams to beat every season and this past season was no different as they went 26-5 and reached the NorCal Regional Finals for the third straight season.
Swimming
Program history was made on the women's side as they had their best ever finish as they finished in ninth place at the state meet highlighted by their 200 medley relay team finishing in second place.
Men's Soccer
During a 13-win season that at one point saw them win eight in a row the Mustangs captured their second-ever Big 8 Conference championship in program history.
Women's Soccer
Also winning 13 games this women's team picked up their first ever win over a team from SoCal and won a NorCal Regional playoff game for the eighth straight season.
Baseball
Despite ending the season, a game under .500 at 22-23 the Mustangs not only made the postseason but pulled off the upset in the first round of it as they knocked out higher seeded Chabot before having the season come to an end the next week in the Super Regional.
Softball
Making the postseason once again the Mustangs went 21-16 on the year while averaging nearly six runs a game.
Men's Basketball
It was a balanced attack this season at the offensive end of the court as they had five players average at least eight points a game during their eight-win season.
Women's Basketball
While another deep postseason run fell short of a state title it was still another impressive season for the Mustangs as they went 22-9 overall and 14-2 in Big 8 Conference play. Kiara Council was named to the All-State Second Team.
Men's Water Polo
Finishing the season strong with six wins in their last eight games they ended the season with an 18-15 record. Two student-athletes finished with over 100 goals on the season as Jesse Reidt had 109 goals while Jacob Herren scored 107 goals.
Women's Water Polo
Reaching the 3C2A quarterfinals the Mustangs went 25-13 on the year. Kylie Richardson was busy in goal all season as her 348 saves was the second highest total in the state.
Cross Country
At the season ending state meet the Mustangs were well represented as the women's team qualified and so did Andrew Morales who qualified on his own after an 11th place finish at regionals.
Women's Golf
Three Mustangs competing for a state title as Alyssa Quilao, Viviana Rojas, and Savanna Carte all qualified. It was Rojas who put together the more impressive pair of rounds as her 80 and 81 was good for the tenth lowest score overall.
Football
A tough season record wise saw them end the season with a bright spot as they scored a season-high 27 points in the final game of the season. Freshmen Ubedei Mcgautha completed 100 passes for 925 yards and seven touchdowns.
Men's Wrestling
Five wrestlers qualified for the state meet led by Marcus Mireles. Other qualifiers included Quintin Maldanado, Rylan Mitchell, Justin Barillas, and Francisco Maring. At the state meet it was Barillas who earned the Mustangs 2.5 points at the 174-pound weight class while Mireles and Mitchell each earned half a point in their weight class.
