The real strength of the volleyball program at Delta is during the fall and the indoor season but the spring provides a fun opportunity for them to continue to work together and enjoy the outdoors as they have already picked up one more win this season compared to last season. Despite having to forfeit the point at fives in each of their first three matches the Mustangs were able to win three of the other four points in their most recent match for the 3-2 win over Monterey Peninsula. A shakeup to the pairs saw Emily Vickers and Kyra Saiers win the matchup at the ones, Naila Ia and Catherine Frias won the matchup at the threes, and McKinley King and Annyssa Arroyo partnered up to win at the fours. After starting the season on the road, they have a few weeks off before they play their home opener on Thursday February 29th at 11am against Lassen.
