The Mustangs have had great success in the SoCal Challenge, winning it three of the last four years. With a tough early schedule and young talent, the team will look to build momentum heading into the 2025 season.
The 2025 Mustangs will once again (3rd straight year) open the season on the road. WIth a late March scheduled re-opening of Nick Cevetti Field, there is a lot of excitement for the 2025 season.
On Sat 1/25 at 12:00, the Mustangs open the season at UOP vs Napa Valley College (9-28 in 2024). Napa has re-tooled their roster and should be a formidable opening day opponent, Wed Jan 28, begins a daunting road trip for the young Mustangs, with 4 straight road games. On Wed 1/28, Delta will be at Fresno City College (31-12 in 2024). The next day the Mustangs begin play in the SoCal Challenge with an opening round game at Cerritos College (38-10), one of the premier So Cal schools. On Friday 1/31, the 2nd game of the challenge will be vs Pasadena City College (23-18), a playoff participant last season. Sat 2/1 will be the final game of the So Cal Challenge, which the Mustangs have won 3 of the last 4 years.
