Mustangs Bounce Back with Series Win Over Modesto

The San Joaquin Delta Mustangs returned to form this past week, securing a series victory over Modesto. The opener at home was a wild one, featuring multiple weather and lightning delays, but Delta came out on top with a 5–3 win. Jack Soares continued to shine on the mound, tossing six strong innings with six strikeouts while allowing just two earned runs on six hits. On Thursday (4/3), the Mustangs hit the road and came out swinging, putting up four runs in the first two innings. But Modesto responded with a four-run third and rode that momentum the rest of the way, handing Delta an 8–6 loss. Box Score

The series finale on Friday night (4/4) at UOP was nothing short of electric. In a tightly contested battle under the lights, the Mustangs edged out an 8–7 win.
