
The San Joaquin Delta Mustangs returned to form this past week, securing a series victory over Modesto. The opener at home was a wild one, featuring multiple weather and lightning delays, but Delta came out on top with a 5–3 win. Jack Soares continued to shine on the mound, tossing six strong innings with six strikeouts while allowing just two earned runs on six hits. The series finale on Friday night (4/4) at UOP was nothing short of electric. In a tightly contested battle under the lights, the Mustangs edged out an 8–7 win.
