Title: Assistant Coach
Sean Riley brings a wealth of knowledge and 25 years of experience with him to Delta. He has developed baseball athletes at all levels through individual lessons and elite teams he has coached on both the east and west coasts. Many of the athletes he has guided have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional level. 
 
Coach Riley grew up in Lowell Mass. he graduated from Lowell High School where he captained the basketball and baseball teams then went on to play at Chipola Jr. College (Marianna, Florida). He coached the Lowell American Legion Baseball Team to both a District Championship and State Runner up award in 2010, 2011. 
 
He then spent several years coaching at Serra High School (San Mateo) where more than ten former players went on to play professionally, won two WCAL titles and a CCS runner-up. 
 
In 2014-15 he moved on to Santa Clara University where he worked with hitters and infielders that qualified for the WCC playoffs. 
 
Coach Riley’s 2016-2017 Menlo High School (Atherton) team won a CCS title. 
 
 He also in 2013-2016 helped identify and develop players for team USA baseball (Cary, North Carolina) In addition to coaching Coach Riley helped scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates. 
 
Riley also assisted at Lowell High (Mass) 2021 and was the head coach at the Prestigious Groton School, (Mass) 2022
 
He has three kids Calvin(26), Justin(23) and Bria16). 
Calvin played at Delta (2015-16) season which made the final four, he is predeceased and his number #27 hangs on the wall at Nick Cecchetti Field.
