Diablo Valley 85, Delta 68
Vikings sophomore Jahnay Anderson scored a game-high 26 points, including eight 3′s and teammate Zahria Hendrix added 24 as Diablo Valley won its 18th consecutive contest 85-68 with full-court pressure and 3-point shooting.
Delta sophomore Lauren Rabena drained a fast break 3-pointer midway through the fourth quarter to cut the Vikings (18-0, 6-0 Big 8) lead to 72-64 but it wasn't enough to overcome the Vikings pressure and 14-of-29 shooting from three-point range.
The Mustangs (15-4, 6-1) were led by San-Kia Braxton with 18 points and teammates Rabena and Don-Wanae Anthony scored 16 and 12 points respectively.
