I am so proud of how the young men on the Delta Wrestling team represented the school at the Northern California Regionals this weekend at Santa Rosa Junior College. This is a qualifying tournament for the State Championship to be held Friday and Saturday next weekend at West Hills Community College in Lemoore, CA. The top eight placers in each weight class from Saturday move on to next week's state tournament. As a team, the Mustangs placed eighth in the tournament and qualified five young men to compete in next week's state meet. The top eight qualifiers include Marcus Mireles in second place, Quintin Maldanado in third place, Rylan Mitchell 6th place, Justin Barillas 7th, and Francisco Maring 8th. GO MUSTANGS!!
