SACRAMENTO — Two California college student-athletes, Ally Ratto, a sophomore water polo player at San Joaquin Delta College, and Dublin Synnott, a sophomore soccer player for Saddleback College, have been selected as the November 2024 recipients of the CalHOPE Courage Award.

The monthly CalHOPE award honors student-athletes at California colleges and universities who have overcome the stress, anxiety, and mental trauma associated with personal hardships and adversity. Here’s a closer look at the inspiring personal stories of the latest CalHOPE Courage Award honorees.

Excited to finally see a team wearing a non-Delta cap the Mustangs women's water polo team opened up their season on Saturday with a pair of wins as they defeated Foothill 8-6 and American River College 13-6.
