Delta Mustangs Women's Wrestling Shines at Sacramento City Tournament

The Delta Mustangs Women's Wrestling Team had an impressive showing at the Sacramento City Wrestling tournament over the weekend, finishing 8th out of 19 teams. Leading the charge was Samira Mason, who dominated the competition with four pins, earning her the tournament title and the honor of being named the Most Valuable Wrestler.

Victoria Jimenez and Alejandra Ochoa also delivered strong performances, both placing 3rd. Ochoa wrapped up the tournament with a solid three-and-two record.

Next up, the Mustangs will face Sacramento City and Lassen College in a dual meet on Wednesday, February 26, at Sacramento City College. These conference matchups promise more exciting action, and fans are encouraged to come out and support the team!
