Lady Mustangs hosted their only home dual meet

The Lady Mustangs hosted their only home dual meet on Wednesday, March 12, facing Fresno City College at Blanchard Gym. It was a special night as the team honored two sophomores, Samira Mason and Isabel Zepeda, who will be continuing their education and wrestling careers at the next level.

The Lady Mustangs secured a thrilling 20-15 victory, with the match coming down to the heavyweight bout. Isabel Zepeda clinched the win for the team with a decisive pin. Samira Mason, Jocelyn Shelly, and Alejandra Ochoa also contributed with key victories.

Up next, the Lady Mustangs will compete in the Santa Rosa Open on Saturday, March 22, with matches starting at 10 a.m.
